The first ever Bridal Expo at the Sands Casio was held today. The venue was great and the turnout fantastic.I stopped by and visited with my fellow photographer John Wirick. John is a talented wedding and event photographer in the Lehigh Valley. John and I worked together shooting the Lehigh Valley Storm 2011 football season in Allentown and we participated one of the Scott Kelby Photo walks. TIPS ON TUESDAY Google Documents Can Make Wedding Invitations EASY !!
This is my first weekly TIPS ON TUESDAY post.
Does the thought of getting the addresses for all of your wedding guests make you want to scream!!!! It is a difficult part of the wedding planning process . Watch this video by Jen and Jeff on how you can use Google Docs to send out a form to all of your friends & family to complete. This will make your task a hundred times easier.
You can use this for other projects too. Did I tell you I love google docs and best of all it is FREE. Of course you need to sign up for google gmail.

Even More Ways to Save Money
Your wedding venue may have decorations already !!! Ask them if you can borrow them. If you have white light then by all means use them as decorations. They add to the festive experience of your guests.
The use of your framed family pictures are free..Moms and Dads,brothers and sisters,grand parents. These images really add to the emotion of your day.

Are you looking to reduce the cost of your wedding ?
I have a few recommendations.
- Skip the single use camera’s… You will be hard pressed to even get the camera’s back. If you get the camera’s back, the results are not going to be very good.
- Cutting your guest list.. This is with no doubt the easiest way to trim your budget. It will be a daunting and difficult task.
- Never buy anything with the word wedding in it. If you can find an alternate product, you will be saving money. It seems items such as wedding shoes..wedding dress…wedding invitations-wedding camera’s have an artificially inflated price.
