Primary Photographer for a Wedding Studio in the Lehigh Valley
I was contacted back in May by a prominent Wedding Studio in the Lehigh Valley. They were interested in having me shoot weddings as one of their main photographers. The road to acceptance for this studio has been pretty intensive.
One phone interview
Submit one full wedding with no corrections
Sign off on four documents
One live interview
One test shoot with two models and a critique of the images
50 images for presentation for their sales team
It has been an interesting experience and I have been added to their team of Wedding photographers. The advantage of working with a Studio is no 10 to 12 hours of editing and the Studio does all of the marketing.
What does this do for my past- present and future clients? Absolutely nothing.. Working with the studio provides me the opportunity to fill in some dates which I do not have scheduled. Of course my prices are MUCH lower than the Studio !!!
It’s a bit of an odd relationship but I believe the Studio will benefit and so will I. Of course, I am sworn to secrecy as to who the studio is. It is part of the agreement I signed with them.

Anna and Jared Wedding at Genetti’s in Dickson City
Most photographers have desire to have feedback about their work. We love to hear how incredible and fantastic our images are. In reality, we do not receive at lot of feedback. I have a small presence on the wedding wire and I was really excited to see the review by Anna.

Hot Air Balloon Engagements in New Jersey
I had the pleasure to work with Thomas Baldwin from In Flight Balloon Adventure in Clinton New Jersey. Thomas has even flown balloons for Malcom Forbes so you know Thomas is a master balloonist.
Sergio and Amy were the first couple I had the privilege two work with. Of course Amy had no idea that she was getting engaged. Here is a few of my favorite images from their engagement session.

You can use your engagement images for a guest book at your wedding- a slideshow for your grand entrance or some other special time during your reception. A large matted print for guests to wish you well is always a great option.
What’s in a table number?
I really wish this was my idea. It is so creative and I wanted to share it with all my visitors. Instead of just using the standard table number,why not name the tables?
You can use local names for the tables such as… Sands Casino- Steel Stax- Music Fest..Main Street. You get the idea. You could use places you visited together.

Anna and Jared Wedding at Genetti’s
It has been a hectic week to say the least. We had the privilege to capture Anna and Jared’s wedding at Genetti’s in Dickson City the last weekend in June. Her wedding colors were red and the flowers on her wedding cake matched. Genetti’s has provisions for outdoor weddings and we were fortunate to get a very nice day. We had some bright blue skies and a LOT of wind. As with many weddings, we started a bit late and we ran out of time to do formal portraits for Anna and Jared. Genetti’s has a pretty cool statue in one of their gardens so I thought a bit of night photography would be a nice additional to their formal portraits.
This week tips for the bride is going to be epic so stay tuned !!!!
